Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born August 20 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams is born in Italy and her father was with the U.S. military and she was raised within Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. The early 1990s were when Adams began performing and dancing professionally at the Boulder Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year she was in Minnesota, at a local theater, she was cast as a character in a mock film documentary on beauty pageants titled Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her screen debut was as the bright, beautiful contestant. After that she moved her home to Los Angeles in order to explore a career acting. Janet Leigh was married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 and September 1962. She's the mother of Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. The actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and started her career as a film actress in the 1940s. Leigh was a star in a variety of popular films during the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954), starring Martin Lewis.
