Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress is well-known for her role as the lead in many television series as well as her strong performances in movies. Both Canadian as well as American TV are fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily became interested in the acting profession when she was just 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie on the set of a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting, she began taking acting classes and went for auditions. She began with some commercials and was soon selected as a child actress in the Canadian television horror show Are You afraid of the dark? One scene in which she was not even speaking even a single word. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough when she was made a regular of the WB Television series Glory Days. Emily's character attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show ended in just nine short seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Emily has also been a professional dancer, a photographer and was listed as one of the top 20 teens' actors. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
