Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti] Romania). She was the first gymnast to score a perfect 10 on an Olympic event. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci when she was just six years old. She first competed at the national junior championships in Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. She won three golds in her first competition at a junior Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist countries. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she became the junior champion in all-round competitions. In 1975, she won four golds and one silver at her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. She was the first woman to complete a reverse double salo on the bar with a parallel surface in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. When she was a teen she began her career in the entertainment business as a performer as figure skater. With her younger sister Nina Wayne she was part of a show that traveled called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th day of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol started her career in entertainment when she was in her teens. As a young girl, she began performing as an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. These shows included the ice skating of which was performed to music from the stage.
