Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy in Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou who was both dentists and teacher, were aware of and encouraged their daughter's love for acting and drama on an early stage. This support is more than enough for Audrey to thwart her initial goal of becoming a primatologist. Her fame grew as an actress in her early years and with great popularity and success. Her career began in earnest in 1999, when she started acting professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou took part in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but now dissociates herself from her childhood. The modeling and acting careers of Tautou were intertwined. Her photography is also a obsession and she was recently shown her work in the Arles festival under the name Superficial. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her first role in Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. After this film, Tautou appeared in many films that ranged from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
