Laura Linney is an American actor, who became famous for her portrayal of powerful but fragile characters. While working as a summer intern at the company of her father, Laura Linney became fascinated by theatre. After that she attended Brown University she studied acting as well as at Juilliard School, after which she began her acting career. Following her graduation at Brown University, she began her Broadway debut soon afterward. Within two years of that, her first film was released and the next year she made her television debut. Over the past few years she's been in many film, TV and stage plays. Her achievements have been numerous throughout her career such as several Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of numerous awards acting has been her first love and she has continued to appear both in stage and screen.
